Trouble Starting Warhammer Battlemarch

Ok I am clueless on whats going on here. I got the game as a gift for Christmas and for the last 2 weeks worked perfectly fine. Now suddenly when I try and start the game I get "Please insert the correct DVD-ROM, select OK and restart application" I have disk one in the drive, in fact the autorun file on the cd no longer wants to run either. I made sure I have it set to run the game as admin. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to no avail. The disk is in perfect condition as it is brand new. Thinking it might be the dvd drive I have tried disks for other games as well which worked perfectly fine. One thing I have noticed is that both the setup and install files on the dvd work fine as well as I have used the setup file on the dvd to repair the installation of the game. However even that lead me nowhere and the same issue continues to stop me from playing. Any ideas as to what is causing this issue and how to fix it? Save me from lighting my game on fire and tossing it in the trash in a rage.

3.16 core 2 duo cpu
4 gigs of ram
