Its more fun to me because anything can happen, watching a GOOD match can show what I mean, to where RB videos mainly show combo then pursuit then wildsense then combo then pursuit then beam... its a boring interchanging give-and-take system to me where with Burst limit u can interupt combos at anytime without teleporting but with ki shockwaves (which were used in the anime and all characters can do it to break combinations that if playing RB you would be trapped in normally. The canceling of Supers + the full charging of them like BT2 is awesome on Burst limit's side. Kamehamehas also charge slowly in RB but if you physically attack the user, you get pushed back and left open were as BL you can attack with no fear. Burst limit's beams also allow combos, like say I use Death beam, I can teleport behind u and then continue a combo professionally, were as RB a death beam just pauses both players as it is seen knocking them over. I also prefer Shin budokai's 's pursuit Style because its in much shorter distances and not a "crash and chase" game as Spike would refer it to.
BL also gives all character, fast speed in animations to where RB differs unnecessarily between characters. The hit detection in attack cutscenes also comes off poor when fists don't make contact with the opponent. Step in animations are also a lot faster and a lot smoother them BL IMO. Where some step ins are jump kicks like with tien, or goku has a dashing elbow or headbutt for their step in animations into the opponent to where in RB the animations look like you are trying to swim in air. Charging smashes in BL is much faster aswell. Super Kamehamehas look much more threatening and also don't poof on contact but juggle. However animations for certain characters in RB look better, fo example, Vegeta's fighing animation looks closer to the anime then BL's does but BL's Goku looks closer IMO.
