Heres a simple solution...Honor all the preorders (if that means producing/manufacturing more Wizard Editions do so). If you cant fullfill the preorder send us a standard edition for free. That's what THQ did with Darksiders II Limited Collectors Edition. This is a utter mess created by Digital River. Namco-Bandai needs to address this matter themselves!!!

Thank you and that mess was created by guess who....DIGITAL RIVER as well!! I went through that fiasco too!! And both times I only ordered from the publisher because no one else was selling that version! And if I remember correctly they honored all collectors edition, just if they were going to be delayed they ALSO sent a free standard edition.

From the sound of it the restock on 1/17 simply did not exist. Not a single unit. It went live on the store at 10:00 PST and I received an order confirmation at 10:01:22 PST. If anyone can confirm that they received their confirmation email from them AFTER 10:01:22 PST AND are STILL receiving the Wizard's Edition please post and let us know.

I'm frustrated beyond words by this and their idea of resolution. You can believe I won't be buying any products from Namco Bandai or Digital River going forward unless a more reasonable resolution is found.

Now I understand why my credit card company's fraud department asked me about my purchase from Digital River. They must've had trouble with them before and categorized the company as a scam.

Hey guys I'm also a re-stock preorder. Got the cancel email.

I just got off teh phone with them and they said there not sure why the email went out but even though I received the email they said my order was fine and in box waiting for shipment. So give them a call. There even sending a reconfermation email to me to show my order is fine.

I hope all really if fine and some dumb ass just sent that out. But only time...

My order was placed at 10:01:30 PST and I also got this cancellation email. It is curious to why they do not reference our order numbers at all. I hope this is in error.

So wait, why was my credit card charged even though I'm not getting anything? Needless to say I'm extremely disappointed that I was notified with an automatically generated e-mail and charged BEFORE the stock was even checked.

This is my first time ordering through Namco/DigitalRiver, and more than likely my last time.

I just got off the phone with them as well, same answer, the guy said that my order was still live and ready to be shipped and that email could of been a mistake. This does not make any sense, are we dealing with adults or are these children running this factory? how is it that they do not know how these cancellation emails were sent out...

If they really did cancel the entirety of the restock sale, then that's exactly what it is.

I have been trying to call, but they've hung up on me twice, so far. Nearly a half hour on hold, both times. This is honestly not really worth my time.

I love Namco Bandai games, I really do. But, seriously, Digital River is bad for your reputation. I could do a better job than this working out of my garage -- and I'm not being even slightly facetious when I say that. I honestly believe that I could wander in with no experience in digital retail and manage to not upset this many customers.
