theres also the manga, Glory of the defeated that retells the original story and endless waltz using the custom suits, i don't know if it will also go into the frozen teardrop line as well.

Wow that's awesome! It's a novel though? Is it possible that they'll make it into an anime like they did with the Gundam Unicorn novel?

maybe, but it would probably not be until after Unicorn is finished, but with the universal popularity of Wing i wouldn't say its impossible

also, as long as its not against any rules, if anyone finds a place to read translations of chapter 1 or higher post it please.
